    Essential Functions

    This person will play an important part in the work that we do each day. In addition to all other duties as assigned, this role will:

    • Facilitation of pool and/or gym parties as scheduled each weekend.
    • Actively engage with staff and party participants at all times during party programming. 
    • Keep up to date information on membership and programming for interested participants. 
    • Work with other department staff to provide quality experience. 
    • Answer questions in a timely and accurate way for possible future party participants. 
    • Ensure proper care, use and storage of birthday supplies and equipment. 
    • Assist in set-up and breakdown of party room and areas in conjunction with co-host. 
    • Responsible for smooth and consistent flow of communication between party host/hostess and Birthday Party Coordinator in regard to schedule and work concerns.

Additional years of professional experience or a Rank of E-5 or better may be used in lieu of education requirements where permitted.

    •  YMCA and/or birthday party experience preferred.
    • Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
    • Skilled with Excel and Microsoft.
