Essential Functions

This person will play an important part in the work that we do each day. In addition to all other duties as assigned, this role will:


  • Display, model and train desk staff on exemplary customer service. 
  • Direct supervision of registrar, billing specialist and registration staff.
  • Maintain program records and statistics as assigned including.
    • Rosters
    • Allergy lists
    • Attendances
    • Transportation rosters
    • Enrollment
    • Registration
    • Department of Early Education and Childcare required documents. 
    • All forms and files as they relate to operations. 
  • Attend required meeting.
  • Host no less than one group meeting and training with all desk, registration, billing and any other administrative staff per month.  
  • Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and orderly desk. 
  • Keep clean, neat and oganized the Youth Development Center lobby, vestibule, hallways, waiting area. 
  • Develop and maintain trainings and records.
  • Recruit, hire and train staff as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and One Drive required.
  • Must have and display critical thinking, interpersonal and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to learn, operate, and navigate various web-based platforms.
  • Ability to direct and answer calls on a high-volume, multi-line phone.
  • Reception desk responsibilities
    • Receptionist at the desk
    • Answer telephone calls
    • Take parent payments
    • General information / tours / enrollment etc.
    • Opening , closing, cash out & deposit procedures
    • To perform general office functions (filing, copies, faxes, mail, etc.)

  • Proficient in Microsoft office products.
